Lechleiter, Connie Louise, age 65 of Necedah
Connie Louise (Baltes) Lechleiter, age 65, passed away from a brain tumor on January 4, 2018 at her home in Necedah, WI surrounded by family. She was born on June 28, 1952 in Versailles, OH to Joseph and Henrietta (Philpot) Baltes. She was married to Frederick Paulus in 1971, and he passed away shortly thereafter. She later went on to finish college and became a teacher. She married Kenneth Lechleiter on April 12, 1974. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved gardening, reading, genealogy, singing in the church choir and teaching. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that entered her life. Connie touched hundreds of lives through her contributions as a Catholic school and religious education teacher and 4-H leader.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Paulus, brother Patrick, sister Margaret (Peg), mother Henrietta and father Joseph.
Connie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lechleiter of Necedah, WI, daughter Maria Blake, Woodcliff Lake, NJ, daughter Ann Puck (Don) Sparta, WI, son Joseph Lechleiter, Stevens Point, WI, son Justin Lechleiter (Tom Bertram), Stevens Point, WI, daughter Sara Knutson (Erik), Tomah, WI, daughter Michelle Matzinger (Jeff), Necedah, WI, daughter Danielle Ard (Michael), Necedah, WI, daughter Laura Lechleiter, Stevens Point, WI and 12 grandchildren. She was also survived by her sister Barbara Monnin, Versailles, OH, and brother Theodore Baltes, Versailles, OH and many nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Liturgy will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Necedah on Wednesday January 10th at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at a later date.
