Driver Flees the Scene of a Rollover Crash

During the late afternoon Saturday December 30th Derek James Stickney, age 36 of New Lisbon, was traveling on County Road B near Davies Road the in the Town of Lisbon when he apparently lost control of the vehicle he was driving, went into a ditch, travelled approximately 75 feet in the ditch, then spun and rolled over causing severe damage to the vehicle and striking dead trees and a telephone Junction Box.   He was immediately picked up by so somebody else and fled the scene. Sometime later he called to report the accident.  When authorities responded to his location, he was drinking alcohol.  He said he was driving “going way too fast,” and left because he was cold.  He received numerous citations including hit-and-run and failure to report an accident totaling nearly a $1000.
