Buelow, Walter E., age 89, of Elroy
Walter E. Buelow, age 79 years, of Elroy, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Heritage Manor in Elroy, Wisconsin.
He was born on January 31, 1938 to Emil and Grace (Grosklaus) Buelow at Leland, Wisconsin and grew to adulthood in the La Valle area.
Walter lived in the Town of Summit and moved to Elroy in 1979. He farmed for many years and also worked at the Canning Factory in Reedsburg.
He was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, rural La Valle. Walter liked to go downtown to hear the local gossip and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his siblings, Russell Buelow of Union Center, Borden (Mae) Buelow of Mauston and Inez Westedt of Hillpoint; numerous nieces and nephews, including his caretaker, Diane (Bryan) Myers of Tomah.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; brother, Eldor Buelow; sisters, Jean (Arley) Ziech and Beverly Buelow; brother-in-law, Delbert Westedt and sisters-in-law, Marion Buelow and Vera Buelow.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, E4198 St. Paul Road, La Valle, Wisconsin, with Pastor Robert Butler officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
