Necedah Village Board Discusses Street Project
The Necedah Village Board discussed the results of the 5th/6th/7th, West, and Weston Street Project Walkthrough at its meeting on Monday night. The staff and engineer identified curb and sidewalk that needs replacement during the walk through. Village Administrator Roger Herried said the original budget for the project planned on spot replacement of curb and sidewalk in certain locations, and they probably will be replacing more sidewalk and curb than originally planned. The board also discussed the condition and size of the existing water main in the project area. There are sections of water main that will be looped as part of the project. Herried said the looping of water main would get rid of dead end lines and provide a better water flow in the system.
