Sauk County TRIAD Announces the 17th Annual “Vehicle Safety Check”
Sauk County Sheriff Chip Meister, in conjunction with Sauk County Police Chiefs and the county’s TRIAD program, has announced the 17th Annual “Vehicle Safety Check”, occurring throughout Sauk County on various dates. TRIAD is a cooperative effort between senior citizens and police and sheriff departments in the community to reduce victimization of seniors citizens. Sauk County TRIAD has teamed up with various sponsors to conduct free winterization checks for senior citizens throughout Sauk County. Sheriff Meister said that these businesses have volunteered their services and expertise in checking vehicles to make sure they are properly prepared for winter driving. This service is includes checking of hoses, fluids, belts, lights and equipment on vehicles and is provided free of charge.
