Adams County K9 Alert Leads to Warrant and Drug Arrest

A Wisconsin Rapids man was arrested after a K9 alerted to an odor of illegal narcotics during a traffic stop. On September 7th, a traffic stop was conducted by Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies on County Highway J in the Town of Adams. The vehicle was stopped for improper registration. K9 Deputy Orlowski and his partner Mieka responded to the stop. Mieka was deployed and alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics emitting from the vehicle. The ensuing investigation alleges 23-year-old Treyton Webb provided a false name and was in possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. Webb also had an active arrest warrant out of Monroe County for several methamphetamine charges. Webb is currently in custody in the Adams County Jail. The following alleged charges are being requested with the Adams County District Attorney’s Office: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing and Bail Jumping.
