Hillsboro Woman Receives Minor Injuries After Swerving to Miss a Deer
A Hillsboro woman was medically transported with minor injuries after a single vehicle crash in Juneau County August 14. 32-year-old Erin Voltz was eastbound on County Highway O in the Town of Plymouth when she told officials that she swerved to miss a deer in the road. The vehicle entered the ditch, struck and went through a barbed wired fence, continued down the steep terrain and came to rest after hitting a tree about 50 yards off the roadway. Voltz was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro with minor injuries.
