National Weather Service Confirms Tornado Touchdown in Green Bay
The National Weather Service is confirming that tornado touched down Wednesday night on the southeast side of Green Bay. The N-W-S says EF-O rated twister had peak wind speeds of 85 miles an hour and moved southeast into the Town of Bellevue. The tornado’s path was six-point-two miles long and it was 90-yards wide. Around 100 trees were damaged along with utility poles and downed power lines. About 20-thousand customers lost power in northeast Wisconsin. There were no reports of injury. It was the first tornado in Green Bay since September of 2005.
