Lyndon Station man facing Charges after Stalking Wife
A Lyndon Station man is facing 3 charges after following his wife across Adams County in an attempt to keep her from going to a friend’s house. On May 14th, 33 year old Adam Giebel and his wife were involved in a domestic dispute that started in the Town of Springville in Adams County. The wife left to go to a friend’s house but Giebel followed her down the road before passing her and blocking her so she could not drive forward. The wife attempted to back up but was stopped by Giebel first. He was able to reach in thru the open driver’s window and tried taking the keys out of the ignition. During this attempt the victim’s key chain was broken. Her wallet was connected to the key chain and ended up falling out onto the roadway. The victim was finally able to drive off and reach her friends place but again Gieble was following her. He finally stopped his pursuit as they reached the friend’s house and they threatened to call the police. There were 3 children in the victim’s vehicle during this incident. Giebel is being charged with False Imprisonment Domestic Abuse, Criminal Damage to Property Domestic Abuse, and Disorderly Conduct Domestic Abuse.
