Gundersen St. Joseph’s to Celebrate Top 20 Award with Free Ice Cream.

Back in June, Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital and Clinics was named to the top 20 critical access hospitals in the nation for quality. To celebrate its success, Gundersen St. Joe’s is inviting the community to an informal ice cream celebration on July 31, 4 – 6 p.m.

The celebration will take place in the eastern parking lot of Gundersen St. Joseph’s in between the current hospital and the proposed site for the new facility.

“This is such an achievement for our hospital,” says CEO Danni Gearhart. “We want to celebrate this award with our communities who have brought out the best in us and contributed to our success.”

According to the Rural Health Information Hub, as of April 2018, there are 1,346 critical access hospitals in the United States which puts Gundersen St. Joseph’s in the top 1.5 percent in the nation for quality.
