EAA Young Eagles to Hold Flight Rally in Adams County
Area youths ages 8-17 will have a chance to take to the skies this Saturday August 25th as part of EAA host the Young Eagles Flight Rally at Adams County Airport in Friendship. In conjunction with this even the EAA Chapter 931 has teamed up with Be Healthy Adams County and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in hosting a Bike Safety Rodeo. The bike rodeo features a skills course, safety demonstrations, handouts, and free helmets. Those attending the flight rally on Saturday are asked to come to the parking lot off of 11th Ave, starting at 9am to register for their flight. Flights will begin at 9am with registration closing at 1pm. Legal Guardians must be present to sign registration forms. The rain date is scheduled for Sunday August 26th.
