Drug Possession Charges for Reedsburg Man

Thomas Day, age 21, of Reedsburg was arrested Saturday afternoon in New Lisbon after a routine traffic stop for speeding.   Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia was found in the vehicle.  Law Enforcement also found open and unopened alcohol containers in the vehicle.  One passenger in the vehicle was cited for underage drinking, another passenger was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant from Sauk County and was taken into custody.  Day tried to say the marijuana was not his and tried to blame others including  mother who owns the vehicle.  However, he was charged with three offences; Operating without a Valid License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of THC.  Records show Thomas Day had previous arrests for THC possession, and driving without a license.
