Droste, Robert Edward, age 74 of Adams-Friendship
Robert Edward Droste, age 74, of Hiwassee, TN, and a native of Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday April 3, 2018.
Robert was born November 20, 1943 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, the son of the late Claude Frederick Droste and Florence Lillian Johnson. He was also preceded in death by Daughter; Sharon Lee, Brother; Carl Droste, and Sister; Lottie Droste. Mr. Droste married Arlene Jacobson in 1969. He served his country bravely in the United States Marine Corps, retiring after 20 years of service in 1983 as a Gunnery Sargent, E-7.
Robert is survived by Wife of 48 years, Arlene Jacobson Droste of Hiwassee, TN; seven children; Diana (Greg) Lesperance of Kiel, WI; Karen (Ronald) Amell of Necedah, WI; Robert (Theresa) Droste of Elroy, WI; David (Beata) Droste of Kiel, WI; Ledah (Rod) Billington of Arkdale, WI; Malinda (Kevin) Krutza of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and Theron (Sarah) Droste of Lebanon, TN; thirty Grandchildren and seventeen Great-Grandchildren; sisters: Gloria Herr and Peggy Hendrickson and Brother, Leo (Evelyn) Droste. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close friends; Bobby, Betty, Roger, and Janiece, and three loving cats.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Rev. John K. Stake will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
