Robert Arnold Dye Sr., age 73, of Adams, Wisconsin (formerly of Janesville)  died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Agrace Center for Hospice & Palliative Care in Janesville, Wisconsin.   Funeral services will be 12 Noon on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin.   Rev. John K. Stake will officiate.  Interment will be at the White Creek Cemetery, Town of Easton, Adams County, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Roseberry’s Funeral Home.   Bob was born June 6, 1944 in Adams, Wisconsin to James Martin and Minerva Eleanor (Fairfield) Dye. >>Madison Seeks State Help To Upgrade Former Oscar Mayer Site (Madison, WI)  —  Finding a tenant for the former Oscar Mayer plant site would be enhanced by some upgrades and the Madison Common Council is being asked to apply for a 500-thousand-dollar grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to finance the proposed enhancements to the property.   The money would be passed on to the new owners to help rebuild the electrical, water and sewer systems.  Production ceased at the Madison plant in 2017 after 98 years in business.  At its peak, four-thousand people worked at the facility in the 1970s.   >>Eau Claire County Board Passes “Lokken Law”

>>Late Miss By DePaul Seals Marquette Victory 72-69 (New York, NY)  —  A missed open 3-pointer with one second left cleared the way for Marquette’s first-round 72-69 win over DePaul in the Big East Conference tournament Wednesday.  Sam Hauser scored what turned out to be the winning points on a pair of free throws with 32 seconds on the clock.  A turnover set up the 3-pointer, but it was off-line and Andrew Rowsey connected on two more free tosses to end the game.  Rowsey led all scorers with 25 points and Hauser added 16.  The Eagles meet the defending tournament champion Villanova Wildcats today at 6:00 P-M.   >>Houston Rockets
