Wisconsin Voters Oppose Gov. Walker Plan To Cut School Aid

WISCONSINREPORT.COM (04/17/2015) – A new Marquette University Law School poll shows that 78 percent of Wisconsin voters oppose Governor Scott Walker’s plan to cut aid to schools by $127 million. Nearly that many state voters, 70 percent, do not appreciate the Governor Walker plan to also cut $300 Million from the University of Wisconsin system.

Supreme Court Validates Voter ID By Not Hearing The Case

WISCONSINREPORT.COM (03/23/2015) – The United States Supreme Court failed to take up the challenge to the State’s Voter ID law. That effectively validates the law, putting it into effect. However, it will not go into effect until after the current April 7th election process, which is already in progress.

Sierra Club Worries About DNR Cuts And Highway Spending

Madison Shooting By Officer Under Independent Investigation

WISCONSINREPORT.COM (03/10/2015) – The shooting incident in Madison, Wisconsin, Friday, involving a police officer, is now the subject of an independent investigation mandated by Wisconsin law. The law was co-authored by Madison area State Assembly Representative Chris Taylor (D-Madison) in the last session of the State Legislature. Coincidentally, she says she was in the area where the Friday shooting took place.
