Camp Douglas Woman Faces Charges after Alleged Overdose
A Camp Douglas woman is facing charges after a reported overdose. On September 2nd local authorities were dispatched to a Mauston motel for a possible overdose. Upon entering authorities observed a woman later identified as 28 year old Dixie Perrigo slumped over in a chair unconscious. Perrigo did wake up and told authorities she had just fallen asleep. Law enforcement observed numerous needles at least one loaded in the room. They also located a bag containing a brown colored rock powder. This was believed to be Heroin. Perrigo was taken to a local hospital, after being cleared she was placed under arrest. She faces charges of Possession of Narcotic Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Perrigo denies any wrong doing and says the drugs were not hers.
