Fire Breaks out at Brunner Manufacturing Building in Mauston

A fire broke out at 1010 Parker Drive in Mauston at around 9:15 this morning (April 3rd).  The building is used by Brunner Manufacturing.  The cause of the fire is currently unknown but Mauston Fire Chief Kim Hale believes it could have been caused by an “air handling unit”.  That theory may change as they learn more, as Chief Hale emphasized it is still too early and more information may come out.  Employees could be seen fleeing the building and multiple employees were treated for smoke inhalation.  It is not currently known whether there were additional injuries at this time.
