14 Grams of Heroin Found in Vehicle of Eau Claire Man
A 42 year old Eau Claire man was arrested last Thursday. He was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin. Ming Xiong was initially pulled over in the Town of Orange for speeding. The K9 unit was requested to conduct a free air sniff of the vehicle, and was alerted of an odor of illegal drugs coming from the vehicle. The deputy asked Xiong to step out of the vehicle and asked if there was anything in the car. He stated to the authority “there’s 14 grams of heroin in the trunk”. The deputy then located a blue backpack in the trunk containing a digital scale and an off white color brick like substance in a plastic baggie recognized to be consistent with heroin. Xiong was taken to the Juneau County Jail.
