WISCONSIN STATE FAIR - 2003
SURPASSES SPONSORSHIP GOAL
WEST ALLIS, Wis. - Wisconsin State Fair officials have announced they have surpassed the goal of $1 million in sponsorships for the 2003 fair, which started July 31st. The marketing program provides a direct vehicle for companies to reach approximately one million visitors over the course of the 11-day Fair (July 31-Aug.10).
As sponsors, the companies are provided with a wide range of the most comprehensive advertising, marketing and hospitality benefits available in the fair and festival industry today.
Sponsorship programs available to companies include: “Day at the Fair,” Facility, Event and Attraction, Stage, Publication, Signage and Strategic sponsorships.
“We are happy to be able to offer companies the opportunity to increase market share and exposure in the southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois area,” said Kathleen O’Leary, Marketing Director for the Wisconsin State Fair. “The ability to customize the sponsorship opportunities to meet the companies’ individual goals and objectives and the fact that we provide a platform that reaches nearly one million people are the primary factors in the continued increase of the current economy.”
There are three levels of sponsorships: $25,000 and above are blue ribbon sponsors;
$10,000 - $24,999 are red ribbon; and sponsors contributing up to $9,999 are white ribbon sponsors. State Fair officials are happy to report 18 new companies have been added to this year’s sponsorship list.
Since 1998, contributions from sponsors have increased over 300 percent. These funds help with the continual improvements and attractions that are offered at the Fair.
The Wisconsin State Fair remains one of the state’s most affordable summer attractions, featuring 11 fun-filled days of live music, great food, exciting rides and hundreds of animals.
