No Injuries in Single Vehicle Accident in Vernon County

No injuries in an accident where a truck struck a utility pole Monday evening. Vernon County Sheriff John Spears said 20-year-old Brandon Aardahl of rural LaFarge was traveling south on County Road D in the Town of Stark when he lost control of his truck. Aardahl crossed the centerline going off of the road and first striking a traffic post before striking a utility pole. The truck came to rest in the ditch and live wires were exposed across the road. Spears said Aardahl was wearing his seatbelt. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office was the LaFarge Fire Dept, and the Richland Electric Cooperative. The crash remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
